Terms and Conditions of Use - Cool Kids Academy
1. Registration, Accounts and Parental Responsibility
Legal Capacity: Account creation is restricted exclusively to adults (18 years or legal age in your jurisdiction).
Adult Responsibility: The Parent or Guardian is solely responsible for creating child profiles. You assume full responsibility for all activities through your account, including use by minors.
Credential Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Report any unauthorized use immediately.
2. Limited Use License
License Grant: CoolFriends grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license for educational and personal use only.
Restrictions: Prohibited: reselling content, reverse engineering (Godot/Next.js), or illegal use.
3. Subscriptions, Payments and Cancellations
Subscription Model: Certain content requires a paid subscription processed via Stripe.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
Cancellation: Cancel anytime via Parent Dashboard. No partial refunds if canceled mid-period.
Third Parties: Purchases via Amazon/Shopify are governed by their own terms.
4. Intellectual Property
Ownership: All characters, game mechanics, lessons, and code are exclusive property of CoolFriends.
5. Code of Conduct & Classrooms
For Classroom/Teacher functions:
Prohibited Content: No offensive or inappropriate content for minors.
Ethical Use: Tools must be used strictly for educational purposes.
Supervision: Teachers must ensure a safe environment.
Sanctions: We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these rules without refund.
6. Limitation of Liability
Cool Kids Academy is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted service and are not responsible for user hardware or internet failures.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Substantial changes will be notified via email.
