How it all started
A dad's need
Hi! I'm Alexandro. As a dad of three amazing girls and living day-to-day in Santo Domingo with my twins, I know perfectly what it's like to balance long work hours with the desire to be present in my little ones' growth.
I realized something that probably sounds familiar: school content sometimes falls short, it's flat and unmotivating. I wanted my daughters not just to 'study,' but to get excited about learning.
The experiment that changed everything
While developing the first prototype of the app, I witnessed something fascinating. My twins are polar opposites: one excelled in reading but got frustrated with numbers; the other dominated math but struggled to follow a story. By using the app daily, I saw how their skills balanced naturally. Even my 3-year-old nephew started identifying colors and animals at a speed we didn't expect.
Edutainment
It must be as entertaining as their favorite show. We fused entertainment with education so kids learn without feeling it's a chore.
Adaptive e-learning
Not all children learn the same. We created an online experience that offers active and differentiated learning, adapting to each child's pace.
Gamification
We implemented game mechanics so progress is fun and, in a good way, 'addictive.' We want them to feel the achievement of beating a level while mastering math or reading.
Safety first
Along the way, I tested more than 10 apps and what I found scared me: invasive ads, strange links and content that gave me no peace of mind. As a parent, that was unacceptable. That's why Cool Kids Academy is a safe zone. It's a 100% third-party ad-free platform, designed for children aged 3 to 7. Here we use concrete manipulatives (digital real objects) and natural development progressions so that the early advantage is real, safe and very fun.
